About Naomi House And Jacksplace.
Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices provide expert hospice care to more than 525 life limited and life threatened children, young adults and their extended families from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey and the Isle of Wight.
Our nursing, care, play and family support teams are experts in delivering the crucial emotional, spiritual and developmental aspects of care that families need. Our emphasis on innovation, clinical excellence and holistic care means we can care for children and young people with some of the most complex medical needs. When a child or young adult is diagnosed with a life limiting condition, Naomi House & Jacksplace becomes their home from home. Our teams take the time to really get to know the family and fully understand their wishes. We offer them vital respite support, giving them the chance to recharge their batteries and regroup in a calm, fun and welcoming environment. In times of emergency Naomi House & Jacksplace is there, giving families the help they need through difficult times. And at the end of a child or young person's life, we pull out all the stops to give them a peaceful and dignified end, surrounded by family members. This standard of care costs money; £9.2 million per year to be precise. With less than 10% of income coming from Government and statutory sources,
Naomi House & Jacksplace is reliant on the support of people like you.

Have a glow-tastic time at our very first Glow Run!
Join us this Autumn for a twilight event like no other... our very first Glow Run! On Saturday 28th September a luminous crowd will gather at the War Memorial Park in Basingstoke to start the 5k fun run, which will feature neon tunnels, disco lights and more! All participants will get a Glow Run t-shirt when they sign up, but we do encourage creativity with costumes - the more neon colours and glowsticks, the better! We want to create the most bright, colourful and glow-tastic spectacle for the people of Basingstoke cheering you on! The run starts at 7.30pm and the warm up starts at 7.20pm. Registration opens at 6.30pm so we encourage glow runners to arrive from that time.
Registration Adults (17+ years) £20 Children (5-16 years) £15 On the day: Adults £25 Children £20 Registration opens at 6.30pm. The entry fees includes the cost of your place and a fancy Glow Run t-shirt. We kindly ask each participant to aim to raise £50, as the entry fee only covers the cost of the event.
